Pocket Puzzle Box

Accessibility

Find the settings and input options that work for you, along with the current limits to keep in mind while playing.

Display and text size

The app uses a dark interface. Home, Settings, Progress, Profile, and How to Play adapt to your device’s text-size setting, with scrolling or stacked layouts where needed.

Puzzle numbers, clues, and symbols are sized to fit their boards. Gameplay status text and action labels have an upper size limit, so increasing system text size does not enlarge every part of a game. Full Settings offers more room for larger text than the compact in-game options panel.

Reduced Motion

Open Settings → Preferences → Reduced Motion to reduce game animations. The app also follows your device’s system Reduce Motion setting; either setting can enable reduced motion.

Shape Cues

Open Settings → Preferences → Shape Cues to add shapes and markers to supported game elements that use color. The cues vary by puzzle and do not change the rules.

Sound and haptics

Settings → Preferences has separate Sound and Haptics switches. When Sound is on, you can adjust its volume. Haptic feedback is available only on devices that support it.

Spoken labels and board actions

Game controls include VoiceOver labels for board positions, values, and state. Some boards also offer named actions, such as directional moves or marking a cell, as alternatives to spatial gestures. Enable VoiceOver in your device’s Accessibility settings and use its Actions menu where available.

Available actions and the experience vary by puzzle and device. If you find a missing label, an unclear announcement, or a task you cannot complete, please tell us the game and the steps involved.

Input on different devices

On iPhone and iPad, use touch controls. On Mac, use a mouse or trackpad; available keyboard shortcuts depend on the game. On Apple Vision Pro, use the system’s gaze-and-pinch interaction with the app’s controls. Each game’s How to Play guide explains its controls and rules.

These options do not guarantee that every game or task works with every assistive technology. Contact us if your preferred input method encounters a barrier.

Report an accessibility issue

Email us using the link on this page, or open Settings → About → Send Feedback. Include your device, operating-system and app versions, the puzzle name, your accessibility settings or input method, and what you expected to happen. A description is enough; screenshots are optional.

Send Feedback opens an editable email draft. You can remove any details before sending; nothing is sent automatically. If no email app can open the draft, choose Copy Email Address and use your preferred email service.
